With the recent craziness of the Swine Flu currently going on we decided it might be necessary to put our two cents in as well. This next ad created for a soap company really takes extreme to new measures. They chose to focus on the negative effects that take place when their product is not being used. This scare tactic can work very well in some cases, but in this one it just plain grosses us out. Who wants to see this kind of imagery? We have to give them some credit though, because this ad sure makes us want to wash our hands… let alone our whole bodies! When it comes to daily hygiene always remember to “hand”le with care!

So the winter weather is slowly disappearing in the Chicago land area… or so it seems. It’s during those cold winter months that we really appreciate the small things. The streets of downtown Chicago are not always the friendliest. This next design piece done for the Weingart Homeless Project really draws attention to those who are less fortunate. We all at one time or another have been approached by the begging homeless, but are we always willing to help out? This project helps put people in the “shoes” of someone who may not be as fortunate as them in order to truly see what it means to be homeless. It’s an attention grabber for sure, but also promotes a social cause. We enjoy seeing design being used for the better and as always design that makes us question who we are and what we believe in.
